This article has inspired my research as it conveys a mystery that would be ideal for a thriller film, where a plane goes missing and no one knows whether the people on board are dead or alive. This article is similar to the
film 'The Vanishing act' which tells the story of what happened to the
Malaysian airline plane flight MH370. My thriller film based on this plot would
be an action thriller where the film is set on a plane when it gets hijacked
and loses contact with the airline, causing an outburst of paranoia and terror
thousands of feet above the ground.

An example of a film that has a plot similar to this article is 'Gone Baby Gone', which is about the hunt for a girl who has been kidnapped. My thriller film based on this article would be about various kidnappings where anyone who witnesses and tries to stop the abduction - dies.
