Films that are similar to my idea

Silence of the Lambs
Plot:
Silence of the lambs is about the daughter of Tennessee Senator Ruth Martin, who is kidnapped by a serial killer psychopath known as 'Buffalo Bill', who kidnaps and murders young women from all across the Mid-West. FBI agent-in-training Clarice Starling is then called upon to interact with Doctor Hannibal Lecter who is a psychopathic, cannibalistic killer psychiatrist. Doctor Hannibal Lecter may have insights into the identity of Buffalo Bill, so she interviews a demented prisoner who may provide a psychological insight and clues to the killer's actions.

Kidnapping scene from Silence of the Lambs which is similar to my opening sequence:

How it is similar to my idea:
The first reason why I feel that 'Silence of the Lambs' is similar to my idea is by the use of the kidnappers car, as it shows the girl being kidnapped and dragged in to a car, which is similar to my idea. Furthermore, we see the victim being kidnapped by an older looking man who fits the same physical description as the actor which we would cast in our opening sequence. Another similarity is the non-diegetic music which is used to build suspense in order to create a creepy and sinister tone, which is similar to my groups idea as we have also planned to add in non-diegetic music to create suspense during this scene.

Kiss The Girls
Plot:
Kiss the girls is about the parallel trails of two kidnappers; one in North Carolina and one in California. Both are collectors, responsible for the disappearance of numerous women. Some of the women are murdered, but the others are held in long-term captivity for the kidnappers pleasure. The kidnapper tracks his targets for months before kidnapping them, and when he does he leaves no trace except the bodies of the women that dare to escape.

How it is similar to my idea:
The first reason why 'Kiss The Girls' is similar to my idea is that the kidnappers are responsible for the disappearance of numerous women, which is the same as the kidnapper in our opening sequence as he also kidnaps numerous women. The second reason why it is similar to my idea is that the kidnappers get pleasure out of kidnapping these women, which is comparable with the kidnapper in our opening sequence as he gets pleasure out of kidnapping teenage girls. Furthermore, another similarity is that the kidnapper in the film tracks his victims months before he kidnaps them, which is the same as the kidnapper in our opening sequence as he watches his victims from a far for weeks before kidnapping them, which can be seen in the backstory to our sequence. Lastly, the kidnapper leaves no trace after he leaves which is the same as in our opening sequence as no one knows who the kidnapper is or what he's done with the missing girls.
